Not really my one problem with the characters is that they are too much of 1 thing, Twilight is always the studious, list making, over thinking perfectionist one, Fluttershy is always the shy, gentle, sweet one and can never stand up for herself, Rainbow is a bit too self interested and her ego can be a bit too much and so on. I feel that they could have worked on the characters more and made them more realistic or better

I think this was done on purpose to match the mane 6 traits. However I can uderstand how this could be off-putting. I did like some of the secondary characters more because there was more left up to the imagination.

I will just rewatch episodes of Friendship is Magic because it's a comfort show for me

I think this was done on purpose to match the mane 6 traits. However I can uderstand how this could be off-putting. I did like some of the secondary characters more because there was more left up to the imagination.
