Is anybody watching? Just catched up to episode 5!

Okay so noone is watching this thread, so i'm gonna just talk about it like a diary.

I dont remember a lot from the first two seasons, but i can positively rate this third one so far! I like the new / old faces making appearance in this season.
Meryl Streep is great in any role, she sells the forever trying failed actress so well. Paul Rudd as the asshole actor with a past one hit wonder and insecurities, idk to like him or hate him tbh.

As always the gang fights and splits up for an episode or two maybe i predict, but nothing too serious in my opinion. It's not that kind of series.

I don't know who the killer is yet. Usually it's the person i least suspect. And while every clue points a finger to Loretta mostly , i am inclined toward that narrative. But it seems too easy and too on the nose. The other characters have flimsy motivations or clues incriminating them, but if i had to blind guess i would say the brother seems quite sus. Always in the shadow of his brother as manager, but doing the most work for them.

I feel like they are shoe-horning romantic relationships on Selena a bit too much. Every season she gets a romantic partner that then gets accused of murder. It's a bit boring for her role, she is such an interesting person, with so much dept. The story with her father was heartbreaking , but this new connection with Paul Rudd's character is flimsy imo. She deals with a lot more than they showed us so far. She is about to get homeless, has no real job beside the podcast, and i think that's a really good narrative they could use. Show her trying to find a job, a normal one (i know they showed her trying to find a house already). That way we are talking about a serious topic among the youth of today.

I wouldn't have guessed Oliver to try and deliberately hinder the investigation for a woman he barely knows and was on a date once... But it's fun to see him struggle a bit too between his personal wants and the truth.

Charles is just a sad character at this point, with his white house syndrome and his stylist/fiance leaving him. Ofc if i was accused of killing someone i wouldnt trust that person either. But i understand Charles, i mean he was betrayed by the ppl closest to him. He needs to get over it tho.
