Are shirts like this in good taste or not?

I dont know if I could actually wear this shirt. Seems like it would be a constant depressing reminder.

What do you think? Would you wear a shirt like this if it was your ultimate bias?

It's not in bad taste to WEAR it, if you are a fan. Whether you would want to or not bcs it is depressing is another thing.
but It definitely in VERY bad taste to make these. That also means it wouldn't be right to give money to those ppl by buying this...

What's weird though is I'm almost positive I've seen RIP Michael Jackson and RIP 2Pac shirts before but those never bother me.

But for some reason a RIP Sulli shirt does bother me. And I'm not sure why.

no way. it's not just the thing that the picture is slightly unflattering and of bad quality (like i wouldn't recognise that it's sulli), or that the font is ugly but also it's quite disrespectful. i would understand if they only put a picture of sulli, that's normal. but why is that huge caption even here. i understand how you feel because one of my favourite musicians has also passed away recently and the least thing i'd need is a constant reminder that she's dead. just remember the artists for what they created while they were alive. after all it's a shirt and not a grave.

I get that some might want to have it as memorial of some kind.. people do make tattoos of people who have died to remember them after all. But in t-shirt it feels like weird advertisement of some kind to me like look this is Sulli, she died last year. Yep it's just weird.

If it was Jonghyun I would 100% not wear it which may seem weird since I'm planning on getting a tattoo related to him. At the same time the tattoo would be in a more private location and it wouldn't be obvious to non fans what it is so it is a little different.
Also the shirt is straight up ugly

No, it's different from for example, creating a journal to voice your thoughts on the situation and their life/how much it meant to you, or getting a tattoo, or creating a form of tribute in some kind for them. Because those focus on not reducing a person's life like this, to only their (in this case, tragic) ends. It would've been better if the shirt said remember Sulli instead, but even so, I don't think wearing a shirt like that is a good idea. Sulli isn't my ultimate bias but I did like her a lot, so somehow this shirt annoys me because I know she deserves better than that.

If it was a fan-thing to memorialize Sulli that would be one thing, but this (I'm not gonna click on it), seems so crass n commercial only.

The t-shirt of Bruce Lee that Tony Stark wore in one of the movies that was licensed by his estate would be an example of a respectful t-shirt if there was one of Sulli or Hara I might buy one n wear it (now tat I was reminded of this t-shirt of Bruce Lee.) {in Asia Bruce Lee is a symbol to a lot of people, me not really but my dad was a big fan of his, I guess even tho we never talked abt it-he bought lots of books n magazines abt Bruce Lee.} so if his (Lee) estate is ok with it, I think it's fine if it's licensed or a fan thing for Sulli, just not right now with the text "RIP 1994-2019", maybe later on when enuf time has passed.

I feel like I might understand if it was given out for a free as a sort of symbol for her death and a way to remember her but the fact that people are trying to monetise someone's recent death just throws all the sentiment out of the drain. The shirt itself seems to be lazily put together as well.

That's probably the main issue I'm having. It just feels like a quick cash grab.
