I like the first one the most (from the previous thread), but I also appreciate the attention paid to the issue of taking native English proficiency for granted, which I hadn't considered when I read the original summary. Personally, I feel like the best solution would be to hint at this issue in the first version of the summary, so the main focus is on the renewed passion and dedication towards French, whereas the issue of taking English for granted could be something that balloons more and more throughout the story until it bursts into a focal point, where Plot A is about that mostly positive French journey only for Plot B to rear its more troublesome head, maybe recontextualising Plot A for Roisin and giving her an even more difficult challenge to overcome.

I also think that this would be a great opportunity to address the issue of Irish and how most of Ireland still doesn't speak it in favour of English. Also, Emma is a Welsh name, isn't it? I know Welsh has a far better footing in Wales than Irish does in Ireland, so that could be something, too. Unless you mean for Emma to be English, in which case please disregard that bit.

I like this the most I think it gives a more depth to roisins struggle of realizing the struggle people who dont speak the dominant language have. i also liked the third version of the plot a lot that has emma. I definetly wanna read the whole story of this, the plot is very interesting and i am very sure it will be thought provoking read.
