I think I'm pulling for Tar in all the categories it's nominated in; Decision to Leave was robbed; I hope Stephanie Hsu wins Best Supporting Actress
apart from that I think I'm really ambivalent about everything else

Had to look at the list again. https://www.oscars.org/oscars/ceremonies/2023

I'm hoping for Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio for best animation, but I haven't watched any of the other non-animated films up for nomination this year. I hope Everything Everywhere All at Once does well, just because I have heard that it's very good, and it'd be nice for a totally unique story (not a franchise or a biopic) to do well.

fuck blonde that shitshow of a movie deserves nothing like it has to be the WORST movie i have seen in my life. i've watched both till and to leslie yesterday and danielle deadwyler should have easily taken andrea riseborough's place in the best actress category as she's there only due to her colleagues copying and pasting the same statement praising her performance and i am so tired of poverty porn movies like to leslie was. if movies like top gun and elvis made it to the best picture category i fail to understand why babylon or puss in boots the last wish didn't. rooting for an EEAAO sweep
