I've seen so many happy posts about Jopping not doing well on charts and/or bashing the group, and I can't see the reason why lol.

I don’t think its really hate on the group, but more so at SM for going all out on SuperM instead of focusing on their actual artists. EXO haven’t had a group comeback this year (though they’ve been recording) and Mark is debuting for the 8366282nd time the poor guy. This is also very much a North American debut, so SM aren’t even thinking about Korea in this.

I thought the album was alright personally.

There were some pretty nasty comments on Reddit (I haven't read ksource that much) about the group also, and it still sounds extremely childish to be happy about poor performance on charts rather than wish they'd do well just because the company is full of shit. I mean, it's not like it came as a complete surprise, it's SM after all.

And in other hand, korean fans don't usually like it when kpop act focuses elsewhere too much at least with BTS some K-Armys have been salty about it (they want promotions in Korea and concerts too).

Personally, I'm not boycotting SM, I'm just not interested. The song is bland, the entire album sounds like a TVXQ demo that was rejected, and EXO, SHINee and NCT are well endowed on their own. This is unnecessary.
