Over the Moon trailer 1:
Trailer 2:
“Rocket to the Moon,” the lead single from Netflix’s event animated film event OVER THE MOON, directed by Oscar® winning animator Glen Keane. Written by Christopher Curtis (Chaplin: The Musical), Marjorie Duffield and Helen Park (KPOP) and with vocals by the film’s lead newcomer Cathy Ang, “Rocket to the Moon” is the uplifting and inspiring number that launches main character Fei Fei on an adventure of a lifetime.
ABOUT OVER THE MOON Fueled with determination and a passion for science, a bright young girl builds a rocket ship to the moon to prove the existence of a legendary Moon Goddess. There she ends up on an unexpected quest, and discovers a whimsical land of fantastical creatures. Directed by animation legend Glen Keane, and produced by Gennie Rim and Peilin Chou, Over the Moon is an exhilarating musical adventure about moving forward, embracing the unexpected, and the power of imagination. The film stars Cathy Ang, Phillipa Soo, Ken Jeong, John Cho, Ruthie Ann Miles, Sandra Oh, Robert G. Chiu, Margaret Cho, and Kimiko Glenn."
The reason this movie first was noticed by me, Rocket to the Moon OST korean - YooA (Oh My Girl):
I liked this movie about a girl who wants to prove the Moon goddess exists by going to the moon n somehow getting proof. The details abt mooncakes n other little bitscare great altho overall i couldnt believe in the modern picture of Fei Fei n her family belief in a chinese myth of a moon goddess, n a few other things. Maybe they ring true to others. Still a great movie overall.
