Dance Practice PassCode - Linkage First Tour dance practice (1 Viewer)

[Michael]

This kind of video is common on kpop; but not on jpop, or any Japanese idol group that I'm aware of. This is the very first time I see Japanese idols practicing their choreographies, and I'm glad it's PassCode.

Linkage First Tour member practice

It is a video of the practice of shaking up the canceled FC tour.

Please make sure everyone is fine. And let's play together again

didn't Sayaka (Neo Japonism) did that? I actually see that kind of videos quite often

There is a brief chat about this on the PassCode discord server:

I just realized, their dance is amazing and have a lot variation

yes - i'm reasonably certain they have a pro choreographer?
as opposed to for example wack, where each group come up with their own chory, to mixed results lol
there's also a lot less of the standard "idol moves" in the newer choreo - look at the chorus of nextage there for example, and some of the other songs in the second half of that vid, the ones that sound like jpop with guitars, rather than metalcore with jpop vocals..

I heard the opposite. I don't know about now, but in early interviews they were talking about how the girls had to come up with their own choreo.

it is really interesting!!!

So my question would be which version is the correct one? Do the girls make their own choreos, or do they have a choreographer? More or less rhetoric questions.

I think they have a choreographer

The chat continued:

Yes but I think they might have a real one now lol

Their teacher

Oh. Those are the same people that do the Babymetal choreo. They're directed by Mikiko.
Saya and the muscle metal girls are members of Elevenplay. But so is Kohmen, obviously. So I guess it's like a "step down". BM is taught by the director of Elevenplay, and PassCode is taught by a member.

So apparently they do have a choreographer.
