They both involve my dog so I combined these stories into one thread. Both happened today as well.
So first people being dumb. We went on a walk with my dog. She doesn't like other dogs. Partly us just not socializing her well enough as a puppy, but it was hard in our location and time. But anyways, on our way back there was another person walking their dog. We've met them before (not while I was there) and they tried to get our dogs to be friends even though the dogs didn't want to. I knew that story and figured she'd just walk on by and that would be all. But no. She wanted to try getting our dogs to be friendly. Again. Even though neither dog wanted to at all and that was abundantly clear. And she eventually realized that wouldn't work and started going along her way saying "maybe next time". Lady. It isn't going to work next time either. Leave us alone
The character development was when we got home. My dog used to hate when we bathed her. One time when we went to the bathroom and called her she ran to us, noticed that we in the bathroom standing next to the tub, and preceded to run past the doorway to the bathroom into the next room. When I went to look where she was she was sitting in her crate thing innocently, as though she though that would save her from a bath But today was very different. She ran to the bathroom right away, which we laughed about. She went to a different room pretty quickly, but then I entered the bathroom because I needed to use the bathroom, but when my dog saw me enter she immediately ran to the bathroom and jumped in the tub. So in the end we ended up giving her a quick bath to appease her. So cute.
