One time I posted wearing my veil. The way I tie it usually goes all around the top of my head and swung around my shoulders covering my neck sort of similar to himation. I’m acutely aware that to many this appears to be a Muslim hijab and I don’t mind kindly correcting people so there’s no confusion. What had happened with this specific person though was after I corrected them saying I was pagan and wearing a veil in that context they proceeded to get upset and say that tying my veil the way I do was inherently disrespectful to Muslims and that I need to stop. Now I avoid saying this as much as possible because I’m very nice but I don’t give a shit about respecting your faith when you’re not respecting mine. I doubt anyone who comes across my account would even thing I’m Muslim because I only wear my veil here n there and the one time someone did ask I clarified for them
