So, Im a photocard collector just recently, because somehow Im just finding out about physical albums after almost 11 years, does anyone have tips on how to stop buying photocrds </33 Im gonna go into debt if i keep buying albums no matter how cheap they are, when I see an album i get this itching urge to buy it, especially when i go to target </33,
should i just quit the hobby or stay out of stores,as of right now i have 7 albums that are worth 160+ ( i got most of them cheaper than the og prices), but I need money </33

Also I didnt mention howfor christmas im getting like 400+ dollars worth of albums... I dont think its an addiction but its getting awfully close.
How should I work this out guys....

I mean you really just need to resist the temptation to buy albums and photocards. I’ve bought several versions of an album because of photocards before but eventually realized that it’s not worth it. It’s too much money and the albums will just take up too much room at some point

I also used to collect albums and spent quite a lot of money… now I'm losing interest in Kpop and don’t know what to do with all the albums, because people won’t sell you much for used albums
No hobby is worth going into debt for, you might need the money one day and deeply regret it

I was kinda over exaggerating on going into debt but yeah, soemtimes our family goes out to eat and i have like no money so I end up eating when i get home. Also if you have all inclusions in your kpop albumsthere are plenty of people who buy secondhand albums in good condition, most people will pay full price as long as it has all inclusions/ pcs

Okay, but just think about it: you go out with your family and you can't afford and have to est at home, bc you had to buy Kpop albums


At the end, it’s your money and I don’t know how old you are, but as long as you don’t actually think your spending habits are a problem, then you problem won't change anything
If your priorities are Kpop albums, then go for it

Nahhhh, I might quit or just slow down, I dont have to eat at home everyyy time cus i still have money but its been about 4 times maybe, so its just a budgeting problem ig most albums go on sale on amazon so i can wait till then, or stop looking at albums. The way i said it did sound a lil confusing, but yeah i either eat at home or dont spend my money cus I want to buy albums instead. Def not first priority.

but im on my journee to become a trainee, so im not eating out as much actually , but if i get into any of the companies i auditioned for, im def quitting the album hobby...

From my experience, the passion for collecting music is stronger when you buy physical albums - because they're tangible, substantial. Digital albums are more abstract. You can't touch them, you can't use them for decorative purposes. People may be impressed when you show them photos of your large album collection. But your digital albums are just data on boring hard drives. A clear advantage of digital albums is their lower price.

Or you could use Spotify, it's probably the most affordable solution if you listen to a lot of music.
