Picking up any new games this weekend? (1 Viewer)

Three big releases on the Switch yesterday (Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, Fire Emblem Engage), even though it's been a pretty quiet month overall so far. Picking up anything new to play?

I do plan to get P3P and FEE eventually, but I'm still playing Persona 5 Royal and then I have Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, which I've already paid for, to play too. At least M+R is relatively short (~30 hours vs. the over 100 I've already put into P5R), so we'll see what timing looks like then.

Report back after you put some time into it! I'm both interested and a bit hesitant, since it sounds like they dialed back a lot on the character interactions, and I got into the series through Awakening, so that element's always been part of the series for me.

Definitely, I'll be curious to know your experience as well! Yep some of the stuff I have heard about Engage has made me feel a bit... meh about it :/ but... I gotta play it first to see how I will like it. They set the bar high with their previous games. Awakening is so good, I wish I still had my DS! I would like them to bring it to switch :(

SAME. I liked Fates and Three Houses, but I replayed Awakening so many times. It had that perfect balance between addictive game play + interesting story + fun character dynamics.

SwitchUp just posted their review last night, and the biggest ding is for the reduced social connections, but it sounds like it's a good time aside from that! I'm feeling very tempted to make that my next pickup.

Nice!! My library just rents out games, but it's mostly kid games, like movie tie-ins.

It reminds me that I need to look up what all my library does on occasion. I think they have a tool library too, so you can borrow a drill or whatever.

public libraries are cool and the best part is that it's all free

Agreed!! I don't physically go to my library much these days, but it's been a lifesaver (for my wallet) for giving me access to audiobooks.

yeah it's got so many different resources and the people who work there are usually very friendly and willing to assist for all kinds of issues
