Just look at this persons case

From the wording at least it sounds like he didn't think of this before he was in line. Personally I wouldn't wait until the passport check line to come up with parts of your plan when you can be imprisoned, or in some cases even put to death for trying to escape. But hey, it worked out for him. And he even went on to be one of the diggers of the most successful tunnel between East and West Berlin as far as I know. So see, no need for plans at all. Just wing it.

Well depends of what you consider easy. Like the tunnel I mentioned was the most successful one (57 people escaped) but it was a lot of work for sure and for the diggers themselves caused them a lot of misery due to what happened one of the nights But if you mean specifically the acting snobby to get through passport control then yeah that might be easier than one would expect
