Today and tomorrow, South Carolina is being hit by Hurricane Helene. Schools are in today but not tomorrow. I moved out of a brick house surrounded by trees to a poorly built one and I'm really scared bc we have nowhere else to go. I just want to stay safe. I wish we were going to school tomorrow as me and many other people who aren't safe in their homes, whether they live in a house like mine, a trailer, or are homeless, would feel so much safer at school.

a part of my country has also experienced heavy flood the past few weeks and it was scary to think about living in a different area, so i can't imagine what you're feeling knowing that the hurricane is coming your way. i hope you stay safe
