i'm in ed recovery and just now i got triggered by some posts on here. i'm not looking to relapse again, so if you're gonna talk about weight or ed stuff or food issues, please lmk so i can block/ignore (i think thats what its called on here) you.
nothing personal & im not mad at ppl for venting but i want to continue living a happy, anorexia-free life and i dont want a stupid kpop forum to end my recovery streak (reaching a month of eating how i want in a few days !!!)

pls dont be mad at me btw im fully aware of kpop's diet culture but pls dont blame me for wanting to avoid relapsing, i dont want to give up my interests just bc of this dumb disorder

I think this is a perfectly reasonable boundary to have. Do what works best for you. I don't think anyone will be unhappy with you doing this, especially if they know the reason why. Speaking of which, good luck on your recovery.

Did the user not post a trigger warning? I’m sorry that happened to you, I wish you well on your recovery and hope one day the worry will decrease. I was in the same situation as you except depression. It was actually one of the reasons why I left kpopsourse and other online communities. It just so upset when someone would joke about “Omg I’m so depressed, I want to kms” when really they had no idea. Now 2 years later I can now freely and do things I like to do again. I hope triggers will fade for you, and I know ED recovery is a long journey, I wish you regain happiness and freedom you once had. No doubt y'll get there.

the trick is to separate your desire's from the ed's
instead of viewing it as part of yourself, view it as a cancer trying to sabotage you and as soon as you separate yourself, it gets a lot easier
i hope someone can help convince you as i dont expect myself to, it took an hour long convo w my therapist before it snapped in my head
