so i watched the tmas like yesterday maybe? but hadn't come on twt since then so when i opened the app i was quite shocked... not in a good way. plenty of kpop fans were commenting on namjoon's speech saying it was pedophilia and sexual harassment. usually, if i see a few trolls who just say nonsense all the time anyway, i just block and report but it was just so many people that it couldn't have been just trolls. it was absolutely disgusting to see a celebratory event turned into a mockery by kpop fans. my thoughts went to victims of child sexual assault and abuse who had to see the real and traumatic events they went through used to hate on a group. i really hope it never happen again. there was nothing wrong with the speech and it's very sad that people tried to twist his words to make it seems like there is.​

It's ridiculous. Was his speech heartfelt with good intentions ? Definitely yes. Could it be misinterpreted in sexual ways, especially taken out of context ? Also a yes. However, people, especially non-fans or westerners who like mocking BTS and kpop in general, have no right to accuse them (more specifically Namjoon) of such serious, disgusting shit. And delusional "fans" have to stop being immature little brats. Find a seat, sit in it, and shut your mouth
