I don't get the point about having "too many members", like yall realize the focus is mostly on the subunits, right? Like the subunits are practically their own groups and it's very easy to invest yourself in one group without the rest.

like, if they debuted in a new unit, you wouldn't need to invest yourself in the whole thing, you could just be invested in that one group. What removing them does do however, is stamp on the feelings and investment both the fans and those members had in the whole group. It's completely shitty.

tbh, there is also a chance that the new bg might nct-ish in sound and look too, just without the "nct" brand attached... like, what's the point?
