I'm realizing more and more that even if generative AI can "generate what it didn't see" it's still basically a 1-1 system because there is little to know critical thinking going on; it's just regurgitating knowledge it has seen in ways that it has seen that knowledge being written, add in a little flavorful direction from users prompting it.
