to be fair i also wouldn't want to be at bad terms with someone i would often have to see due to our partners sharing the same workplace, but they could just treat each other like acquaintances so tay going all bffs with someone like that at an event that has nothing to do with the nfl was... a choice like i don't know shit about football because i'm european, but there is no way this brittany girl is so powerful that taylor cannot put the values she claimed to stand for over their friendship

exactly!! knowing someone and being kind to them simply because you know them isn't the same as being best friends.. not to mention taylor is a grown woman who is very aware of the political situation in america since she has advocated for biden before.
