So having been underweight for the better part of my life I'm now forced to do something I never thought I would; lose weight.
When I started being able to gain weight I promised myself that I'd never allow myself to get fat and if I ever felt like I was starting to I'd do anything it takes, so - I'm starting with a 3 week cut which basically means i'll be eating nothing but fish, chicken, veg and small amounts of rice for dinner and for breakfast I'm having low calorie yoghurt with whole-grain cereal or boiled eggs.
This is all new territory for me and I'm effing miserable since I've never had to lose weight before but thankfully I do at least know the theory of what to do from when I was into fitness.
Once these 3 hellish weeks are over I will switch to a more balanced and long-term sustainable diet which thankfully shouldn't have to be that different from what I ate before which was already quite healthy, what I really need to do going forward is practice portion control and cut out a few unnceccesary indulgences, I'm also thinking of trying an intermittent carnivore diet - on those days where I don't know what I want and just get a filler meal anyway.
Anyway, I will never understand people who actually likes to live like this because being hungry is up there with the worst feelings I know. If there's one thing I got in abundance though it's discipline and I will do what needs to be done regardless of how I feel, there's no doubt about that.
