My dislike for flat-earthers doesn't come from the fact that they falsely believe that the earth was flat
They just put it into my head the idea that alternate universes may have radically different setups that may include something like concentric shell planet where a planet is a set of concentric spherical shells or a single spherical shell and that one would float in the center with no gravity and yet one would have air to breathe. I wonder what kind of animals would evolve there or what happens if humans discover such a thing and attempt to inhabit such a place?
The idea of a hollow planet allows for a much larger planet, volumetrically, without severely increasing its gravitational pull and imagine the amount of free space the planet would have if it were that much bigger! We could have much more space to just-- Get some elbow room.
The current reality suggests that we either have to become interplanetary or decrease our population. One is severely resource intensive, something this planet is already suffering for, and the other is practically unethical.
