here there are public schools which are governed by the each state for primary and high school the school terms are 10 weeks each totalling 4 terms in total and in between each of them is a 2 week holiday and at the end of the year there is a longer summer break of at least 1 month

paying as in there's an incentive right? lol
so it would seem that for the most part it doesn't really matter that much

I guess it's because swimming and beach culture is so much part of aussie lifestyles and that they don't want children to drown so they all learn swimming
we do driving lessons outside of school - like it's a private matter

Sounds a lot like ours but the terms (quarters here) are 9 weeks. And it depends on the school district.

The next city only 10 minutes away could have a completely different school system than us lol. Like I used to live 20 minutes away from where I do now and our junior high is their middle school minus 5th grade (elementary)

Haha yep. $12 for As and $8 for Bs (nothing for Cs and below). I'd be getting $72 unless I can convince them that getting a B in an AP course counts as an A (weighted credit) because it's true (getting a F is like getting a D in that class lol. But you don't pass lmao)

That's smart. I mean, you guys are landlocked all around. I would be more surprised if it wasn't required.
Yeah that's good too. Driver's Ed here is hella expensive. My parents chose to teach me themselves, even if we would get a small deduction on my insurance.
