Sounds a lot like ours but the terms (quarters here) are 9 weeks. And it depends on the school district.

The next city only 10 minutes away could have a completely different school system than us lol. Like I used to live 20 minutes away from where I do now and our junior high is their middle school minus 5th grade (elementary)

And only a month summer vacation?! Whaaa...? Ours is almost 3.

Haha yep. $12 for As and $8 for Bs (nothing for Cs and below). I'd be getting $72 unless I can convince them that getting a B in an AP course counts as an A (weighted credit) because it's true (getting a F is like getting a D in that class lol. But you don't pass lmao)

That's smart. I mean, you guys are landlocked all around. I would be more surprised if it wasn't required.
Yeah that's good too. Driver's Ed here is hella expensive. My parents chose to teach me themselves, even if we would get a small deduction on my insurance.

damn doesn't it get confusing??? here everything is regulated state by state so there's some conformity in terms of what each student learns and the term structures and so forth

4 x school terms of 10 weeks each = 40 weeks
3 in between school term breaks @ 2 weeks each = 6 weeks
1 longer summer break of slightly over a 1 month = 6 weeks

52 weeks total

any amount of money is money I guess

To this day, idek what AM radio is used for. It doesn't work on most stations anwyay...

It works in my mom's car and I hate it because she always plays it. It's used for talk stations. It's like a podcast, but aired live and with daily new content that is many, many hours long. The ones my mom listens to are usually political.

Sorry but everytime I try using AM radio, I think it's aliens or ghosts trying to hack into our radio stations and communicate with us because there's so much static over talking if you can even hear what they're saying lmao
