I don't feel entirely invalidated, like I was barely on here this year, but I do believe a lot of people don't care about me. It took me nearly two years to get uotm when all my friends got it in their first few months. Am I just unlikeable? Do I not do enough? Do I have to like the main girl groups more?

I'm not saying this to sympathy bait by the way I've just always felt this way on this forum. At least on Akp I had a good small group of people. Here it's like the people listen to me but they don't take in what I say. And when I criticise someone they take it so badly. Is it the way I'm saying it? Like??? I'm genuinely confused

I know a lot of autistic people experience making no irl relationships so they rely on online relationships instead, and that was me when I was an early teenager, but somehow I just can't close friends online anymore and I can make close ones irl. It's weird how I've turned out

Ah sorry mate, presumptions. I'm very flabbergasted you haven't gotten yours yet, especially cause you're always a light in this place. I know that I used to be so excited to see who it is then see it's a new user and I'd be like what???? and some users have gotten it twice and shit, it's unfair imo. But hey, if I can somehow get one I know you'll get yours too <3 If not I'll stage a coup and take over this forum so you do!

When I saw it I was like “what did I even do to even be considered to be nominated in that category? :O”

I don’t think you need to necessarily like the main girl groups in order to feel like you’re a part of this forum as everyone has different tastes in music and groups. Although, I have seen and noticed that in this forum and the other kpop forums I was on, both of the forums consist of majority of gg stans which I can acknowledge that sometimes it does feel kinda discouraging seeing that there’s not a lot of bg stans in these forums. But I mean, we can’t change that right? The only thing we can do is to just accept it the way it is and be our own selves & not worry or care about being pressured to like something that we don’t. We can still be a part of this place even if we’re not part of the gg stan thing :)

I was kinda off my ass writing that lmao I do fully agree with you on everything you say here. It's more of a me thing where it's hard to feel acknowledged when a lot of the times I don't think I'm validated and it's something that I'm working on, I just let my vulnerability show. That being said I am thinking of leaving and finding a good place to store of english covers, not because I don't nessecarily find interaction on here, but I wanna find people to discuss them with (problem is I don't think a lot of people enjoying the art of interpreting lyrics and making english covers). I think I just need to deepen connections with people already here and find a small niche group like I did on Akp. It'll happen, maybe.
