that book had me crying instantly at 3am the moment that character I liked so much opened the door and I realized he wasn't going to die at 15 like I'd anticipated and dreaded throughout the whole book, instead his life took a equally devastating yet peaceful direction I never imagined would happen. I'd heard people raving so much about Fredrik Backman's books and I'm so happy I picked up my friends even though it pulled my heart all over the place. makes me realize why I loved reading so much.
