I always thought the first Jurassic Park movie was one of the all-time greats (the sequels suck though) but the book is putting it to shame! It's just a lot less dramatic and reads more like horror story rather than trying to wow you with flashy scenes. Some of the changes the movie made are pretty silly too, one that made me actually laugh was Alan in the movie hates kids but in the book he is literally described with "Alan always loved children!", what was even the point in changing that. Also the lawyer guy who in the movie says "Are they heavy? (referring to night vision goggles) then they're expensive, put them away!" just generally being a dick is actually the one who offers the kid the goggles in the book. I think Steven Spielberg just hates children.

I thought the original sequels were okay but I lost interest after Jurassic World. I ended up seeing Fallen Kingdom as well when I was stuck on a plane and it was just as bad so I don't have the motivation to go for the rest. I guess I didn't like the new movies for the same reason I prefer the book over the first movie - it moves away from being about dinosaur and instead turns into a monster blockbuster and it feels like watching a Marvel movie but with dinosaurs.

These BTS tickets going on sale in 5 days is not good on my mental health I've been sooo stressed.

I'm someone that's not very lucky but I've been manifesting believing good things can happen if I want it enough but it doesn't help that Australia is only place that doesn't have prices for the tickets and everyone thinks we may have the most expensive ones.

Since I'm only getting 1 single ticket to 1 show I should be okay and maybe hopefully it means people will not want to go to multiple shows and maybe fly to see them somewhere else for the price of tickets here. Idk I'm just hoping for that 1 C or D section ticket
