there's a lot of caps and cuss words ahead
THE ALBUM IS FINALLY HERE AND IT'S BEAUTIFUL AS FUCK.

Title: TRAUMA - 10/10
Masterpiece doesn't even begin to describe this song. Teardrop's evil twin brother is HERE. The track is so fucking sexy like??? How do I marry audio files??? AND ZUHO FIT IN "MALE VERSION OF VENUS" LIKE IN THE KINGDOM PERFORMANCE FOR MOVE and Hwichan's "give me your love" like they both said it and both hit me in entirely different ways AND THE MAKNAES DID A DUET RAP OH MY FUCKING GOD WHAT. Absolutely fucking love this song, I know Summer Breeze is technically the queen but I would be lying if I said this isn't quickly coming for that title.

B-Side 1: Memory - 8/10
The sweet piano mixed with modern sound? Oh god all those gorgeous vocals and melodic rapping I CAN'T TAKE IT. It's so mellow and pretty ahhh I LOVE IT. The "Faded loveeeee" part lives rent-free in my mind and will continue to do so until I'm old and senile. And even then.

B-Side 2: Dreams - 9/10
WHO TOOK COKE AND CREATED THIS? I LOVE YOU. I love the mix of slow and fast verses and that explosion of a chorus!!! My heart can't take this. HOW RUDE. And that prechorus? GODLY. LEADING UP TO A GODLIER CHORUS. FUCK.

B-Side 3: Gentleman - 10/10
This is BY FAR my favorite song on the album. Each verse is hella captivating and I cried real tears at the chorus if the mysterious spy who buys you a drink laced with poison at the bar and then leaves as you slowly die was a person THIS WOULD BE IT. This is one of the best songs of the year. Feel free to meet me in the pit for a fight if you disagree.

B-Side 4: On and On - 10/10
This song is so pretty what the hell just making me more emotional than I already am, I see. Youngbin's soft rap was HEAVENLY. AND INSEONG'S GORGEOUS VOCALS??? BRB STILL SOBBING OVER THIS. I HAVE NEVER EVER HEARD A DUET SO FUCKING BEAUTIFUL IN ALL MY LIFE. FUCKING WHAT THE FUCK I CAN'T TAKE THIS

B-Side 5: Scenario - 9/10
WE NEEDED THIS. Fucking perfect not sure if I'm still alive after this. AND THAT HIGH NOTE GOODBYE THAT'S IT I'M WALKING OFF THE FACE OF THE FUCKING EARTH. AND THE RAP AT THE END IS PROBABLY MY FAVORITE ONE ON THE WHOLE ALBUM. Just when I think SF9 has reached peak perfection, they go and prove me wrong.

B-Side 6: For Fantasy - 10/10
This is the song that broke me emotionally and left me and crying like a little bitch, officer. Arrest it. THE AUDACITY THEY HAD TO JUST BREAK MY HEART? I didn't sign up for this!! Leave me aloneeee omg I've cried enough over you guys why are you trying to force salt out of my eyeballs no but really this song is so gorgeous and I'm so happy the members wrote it for fans

Overall ranking
1. Gentleman
2. On and On
3. Trauma
4. For Fantasy
5. Dreams
6. Scenario
8. Memory

Final thoughts
Once again, SF9 came and reminded me why they are superior to nearly every other group that has ever existed ever. This is one of the few albums I've actually rated all songs 8 or higher. Zero skips. And the visuals? The chair dance? Yoo Taeyang in general? SENSATIONAL FEELING NINE I LOVE YOU
