Maybe they gave Masahiko a F not based on skills but based on artistic direction. They were telling him (not in an explicit way) that they are looking for a different way of performing. Like they were telling him in-explicitly that he needed to be more mainstream. Hico can do mainstream (choreo to Bruno Mars or Thelma Aoyama for example), he has just recently been more into waacking.
