A while back, I thought I misplaced my keys bc they weren't in their usual spot (my coat pocket) when I was about to go for a walk one morning. Every day for the next few weeks, I scoured every room of my apartment with a fine-toothed comb, looked in every nook and cranny, leaving no stone unturned, and I just couldn't find them! I would've asked my downstairs neighbor, let's call her Michelle, if she stole them, but I didn't have the heart to, so I was basically without keys for a whole month.
Fast forward to this morning. I asked Michelle's boyfriend to leave the door open for me bc appointment and no keys... he was like "Oh, I think I found them when I was sorting through the trash yesterday." And I was like "
how'd they end up there?" He simply returned them to me and I went about my business, but I later found out that Michelle, the klepto that she is, really had stolen them! but like I said, I'm too kind to accuse people of wrongdoings... maybe I'm too kind period? lol
