As a British person, it’s strange to have her pass away as you would see her image everywhere (money, stamps etc). Personally, I’m hoping this will mark the end of the Monarchy and steps for its dissolution will begin. I don’t feel any connection to Prince Charles (“King Charles” I guess), and he doesn’t have any admirable qualities in my eyes. While I can imagine post-war Britain rallying behind the young Queen, I don’t think modern Britain needs a monarchy in the same way.
