Question about Christmas (1 Viewer)

When are you going to get a tree? Do you usually do the decorating of the tree close or some weeks before Christmas or do you start the first day of December? My family usually get our artificial tree out and we do it a few weeks before Christmas

We go to a tree farm near my grandparents and get a real tree, usually the day after Thanksgiving. Some years we don't even decorate the tree-it was more of an event for when I and my siblings were younger. Now my family kind of like the simple look of the tree with nothing but lights on it. I don't think we've properly decorated the tree in years. But when we did we usually did it the night we got the tree.

My mom just takes the fake tree we have from our shed and puts it up

we decorate the house maybe 2 weeks before, but the tree usually one week before Christmas I think. Or less than a week
