Is there an upcoming tv show (on Netflix, Disney+, etc) that you are looking forward to and would recommend others to watch?

I am looking forward to the upcoming historical drama 'Shogun' that is due to begin airing on the 27th February on Disney+, Hulu, and FX (depending on where in the world you live).



(Discretion is advised due to the violent/graphic nature of some scenes within the trailer)

Premise of Shogun:

Shōgun follows "the collision of two ambitious men from different worlds and a mysterious female samurai; John Blackthorne, a risk-taking English sailor who ends up shipwrecked in Japan, a land whose unfamiliar culture will ultimately redefine him; Lord Toranaga, a shrewd, powerful daimyo, at odds with his own dangerous, political rivals; and Lady Mariko, a woman with invaluable skills but dishonorable family ties, who must prove her value and allegiance".

Clavell's Shōgun is a fictionalized version of real events and history. The character of John Blackthorne is loosely based on the historical English navigator William Adams, who in Japan rose to become a samurai under Tokugawa Ieyasu (whom the character Yoshii Toranaga is based on).
