The host just responded and told me it has nothing to do with server performance, there is plenty of resources available, it was a ddos attack against the host network, they have placed mitigation in place and should already be resolved.

Just for clarification- is the user verification part of the mitigation process, a new regular thing or just temporary?(or shd I open a ticket to ask this in the sub-forum ask a staff?)

It's part of the web application firewall that we use, as of right now almost 10k IP has been blocked, I blame the AI web crawlers.

Wow, thnx for hvg strong uptime security measure, tiffany-shi. A little verification mitigation is nthg compared to the attacks KS is facing. Wonder if timing is just random or cyclical on the bot attackers part. I hope the attacks stop soon.

We used to face the same thing in the past, but it's both attacking our site and our network providing the connectivity.
