Starting June 28, 2023, South Koreans will be younger on paper in some situations.

So excluding old people, I wonder if it will really take them so long!

So most of them already know how to use and calucalate international age! Korean-Americans don't use that stuff. I sure as heck don't. Nor does my mom. But all our relatives over there do, its second nature to them. That's why i'm saying, it'll take time and quite possibly a couple of generations to witness any potential long haul change in that aspect.

it's a toss up, really. I haven't been in sk in 3 years, going back this summer. But last I was there, the younger teens were already "letting go" of that notion, a change was inevitable imho. In essence, I think that they still use it out of sheer courtesy to their seniors holding on to it badly. That's my take on it, really.

Also, this is chinese but that's basically what happens when you speak to a Korean-American
