[Myth]

I will write you a short poem

I want to take my mind off some things by exercising some creativity™️

Frogs jump a lot
They spring high up into the air
Pushing through the barrier
Breaking free of restrictions
For a moment

in suspended motion

they are free

But they are pulled down again
Smooshing forcefully
Into the ground
It’s sudden but

the taste of freedom lives
Lives inside their souls

I'd love one!

Anchovies

the ancient anchovies sit on my shelf

I don’t quite fancy them
Don’t know why they are there
where they come from even

they are just there

perhaps they were gifted to me by an old relative
Perhaps i bought them thinking
I could use them for a special casserole recipe
Perhaps an old lover liked them and kept them on the shelf for a special occasion
I’m not sure but

they were always there

They lay in waiting. Collecting dust.

They lay in waiting. Their moment may come.

They may not.

They will sit comfortably waiting for an old friend to return.

Firey ashes burn my face.

I feel the warmth on my skin

It stings but
It sort of feels nice

Like an old friend reaching out to me.

I want to grasp it to
Just physically hold it in my arms and
Squeeze it tightly

but the moment is fleeting

and I am left alone again in the dark unknown.

Sticks and stones
Breaking bones

she touched my spine and
Snapped it in half

It crackled this way and that

click clack CRACK

I didn’t even notice
Notice what happened until a moment after

I want to be mad but
I’m glad it’s done

Twirling spirals

spin me around

This way and that

make me go right and left and left and right and left left left

and and and
And

back again

This rush of adrenaline courses through me

I feel really alive. The energy takes me to a new high

I don’t know where I am anymore but
I am here

I don’t like pinecones
I don’t like the sun
I don’t like mushrooms
I don’t like the movies

I was wrapped tightly in
a pile of wrapping paper
Wrapped up tightly and neatly in
A bow

I wanted to sneer at them
Being paraded around
Moving at a pace not at my own

couldn’t think couldn’t move
Just felt many numb feelings
Mostly those of disgust

Still, it’s at least easy

Pay me a visit and peel off some wrapping
I’ll make it worth your while

Sorry. It’s not that I’m sad I just like adding a dark twist to my writing. It’s where my creative mind goes lol xp maybe next time, I’ll write more fluffier stuffs lol

Cheese dripped on me

it slowly slid off my hands
And onto my knees

I felt it pooling through the fabric
It soaked it and turned it into an ugly color

I wanted to clean it up but
My hands were greesey

so I just watched it with fascination
And looked away and continued

letting the cheese claim me
