I got into anime/manga during middle school, and was SO into it up until sophomore year of high school where my "thing" turned from anime/manga to KPOP. I have just restarted rewatching some of my old comfort anime and honestly... it shocks me how I once loved some anime so much and now I rewatch it and I'm no longer super into it.
One example of this is Haikyuu- aka my all time FAVORITE. Now that I'm rewatching it, it's a bit less entertaining. Though, I must say, the manga is much better and I do already know how things turn out. I definitely need a new favorite.
On the other hand, back when I first watched Naruto, I ended up quitting the first season because I got bored and jumped directly into the second season. Now, however, I'm rewatching and I've made it 100+ episodes into the first season! I previously quit the series at the start of the chunin exams arc.
