Rolling Quartz vs LOVEBITES (1 Viewer)

A few days ago, I posted and watched an online concert delivered by Rolling Quartz. Since they had two translators, I guess it was delivered mostly for the international fans. I liked the concert enough to get an interest to know the band better and stan if it comes to that. However, as things has gone, I've mixed their discography into a playlist along with groups and bands I've already liked; both groups I stan and not stan, and bands I like. It happens LOVEBITES has grabbed my attention even stronger. I feel any LOVEBITES' song is better in my opinion than my Rolling Quartz's favorite song. I was lowkey hoping to get a renewed interest on Korean music and get to stan Rolling Quartz. As things are going now, my interest is going back towards Japan however, now even stronger since my top favorite metal band, GALNERYUS, has released a single. I feel that LOVEBITES only gets behind GALNERYUS for a tiny margin, so I think I'll be exploring LOVEBITES in the next days and leaving Rolling Quartz behind, at least for now.

I watched the Live concert Rolling Quartz gave, I liked it :) Not a lot of people from south korea on it, which probably explains why they've hired an english and a spanish translator to translate their speeches between songs. Its also a big donation gig to gather money, let's be honest.

Rolling Quartz has only one problem in my view, money! The talent, the playing abilities, the VOICE, its all there! But I'm afraid that Rolling Stars doesn't really have a strong budget envelop to play with and in the end, production suffers slightly (notwithstanding promotion).

Rolling Quartz is an "accident" that was never meant to be. Jayoung never exactly sang Rock stuff before, she just wanted to be a Kpop Idol soloist (i've been following her for a long time). Hyunjung had completely stopped playing guitar before the phone rang, she had given up! Yeongeun is a drum instructor and hadn't really had any opportunities before. Arem is '94, almost 30 now! Ok for K-rock but somewhat borderline for M Countdown stages at some point soon for others.

I've been a Diadem all along but truth be told, I just "roll" with it and I'm not expecting anything elaborate considering the circumstances. You're not disappointing lmaooo In fact, i'm pretty sure you'll come back to listen to them if they release something chill in the future! <3
