I do strongly prefer her and Miyeon's solos to Soyeon's....

I think technically yes, though they can get used interchangeably. Like how stan is originally not a positive connotation, but people mean it more neutrally (typically).

like nugu literally means who? when referencing kpop it means literally the hundreds and thousands of unknown groups who one has probably never heard of and yet within the kpop community people just refer to any "non-successful" or lesser successful group as nugu

100%. Its kind of annoying when people use "nugu" to mean "under appreciated" too. Like, sorry, but if the YouTube video has over a million views and they've sold 15K+ copies of their album, they're definitely a smaller group, sure, but they're not unknown. I compare it against some of the reports of groups being disbanded where I didn't even know they existed in the first place, and I keep up on general kpop news.
