honestly this sucks, legitimately going to feel down about it although i had a hunch this could happen so i was trying to ignore the celebration of the 20th anniversary since i was worried this was the result, actually today i was feeling confident that we were in the clear since they didn't announce anything on the anniversary

sucks, the only reason i started listening to J and K music was because of them, been following the band since 2014 and always thought they were going to be around forever, legitimately i was never worried about having to read "SCANDAL are disbanding" and yet here are, guess there is nothing permanent in this life unfortunately

we still have a full year them so that's something positive

their 20th anniversary was in the Osaka Jo Hall and there were 16k people in the audience, maybe the Tokyo Dome would be a good place to say goodbye next year

really sucks, honestly i wish they didn't break up but rather just went on hiatus and take 1 / 5 / 10 years if they have to but i understand their position, all members have been in the band for more than half of their lives, imaging starting something at 16 and at 36 you are still doing it, even if you love it with all your heart you may start wondering what else is out there

personally this year has been brutal for disbandments, my favorites keep dropping one after the other, literally yesterday i was talking about how i was happy that their 20th anniversary celebration went well and we didn't got any sad announcements and today we got this lol

well at least we have 1 more year, it's not that much time but enough that it still feels distant and isn't going to take us by surprise when it does happen
