i really hope her image can recover from this but knowing how knetz and twitter stans are.... plus this news might not reach the same huge audience the accusations did... i respect naeun's decision to drop the charges but i dont think its the right way to handle this. sometimes a simple sorry just wont do,, this A person woke up one morning and decided they're going to ruin someone's career for what? clout? out of spite? they had so many chances to come clean before this blew up but they didnt. in the end they're only sorry they got caught, and even still, they're getting away with it. no one in their life; their friends, employers,... will have to know what they did while naeun's career might never completely overcome this.

Last I can recall about the case is people questioned Hyunjoo on why she didn't submit evidence for some of the things she claimed like the texts from the members and she said they weren't relevant for the case DSP has against her

I think when it was revealed Hyunjoo had attempted suicide a lot of people jumped to a conclusion that it meant she had to have been bullied and then became super focused on picking apart Aprils arguments as they were conviced they were liars.

Who even knows what to think about Jimin and Mina anymore, Jimin didn't do herself any favours when it was released and now Mina doesn't seem to be as innocent as she claimed either so I just throw my hands up on that one

People sometimes forget that Suicide is typically because of mental illness. Hyunjoo being depressed wasn't the result of APRIL bullying though if they were ostracizing her I don't doubt it would have a negative effect on her. But anytime I heard the stories it strongly just sounded like the group mates had good reasons to be frustrated but she also had a good reason not to be at practices all the time. Which is why it was smart for them to part ways in the end.

But to me, it just sounded like there was a lot of tension amongst the members and no real outlet or way to solve it-first of all because they all were so young when they started out as a group and I think people forget that....

Yeah no, it's definitely not the smartest thing. Especially given that they aren't around their actual role models (their parents) during that time and instead they are around greedy adults who don't really care about their well-being. So naturally, even if they have a leader she's still young and isn't emotionally mature enough to actually handle conflict well.

Then the younger members if they see tension they'll stick with the older unnies and they themselves aren't emotionally mature enough to know how to handle the situation properly. People forget they were legit children. That doesn't excuse anything but I also think it means that they shouldn't necessarily be hated for their immature actions.

I genuinely feel like this whole thing was just a massive misunderstanding between the entire group and Hyunjoo. And because of their age and inability to actually know how to handle it all it all went to shit and ended with people being hurt.

I a hundred percent don't doubt that DSP gave zero fucks about the girl's health and well-being. It's no wonder there was tension. If I was that young and being run into the ground and one of my teammates got out of it. I'd be pissed too but obviously, the girls maybe didn't know what was actually going on and that also built up tension and caused issues, and obviously, from Hyunjoo's perspective, it wasn't fair. That poor girl was struggling.

It's a mess that could've been avoided had they been older, more mature, and under good supervision and not overworked or run ragged to the point that Hyunjoo had health issues.

The entries from Naeuns diary make me still think she is not completely innocent but in general I think the pressure from being in a god awful company like DSP as well as the fact that they probably threw people together that couldn't work well together caused a lot of tension.

In all honesty you should be able to provide an article or something before straight up calling someone a liar, I don't really have an opinion on whether Hyunjoo is innocent either but its important that if you do have one on something so serious you should be careful how you say it. It can come across very badly to a person who would take this case personally whether its someone who is accused of bullying without proof getting upset or someone being bullied who is not believed etc. the internet is full of people who will jump to conclusions just based off of one single sentence. All I'm trying to say is be careful about what you say because it can't always be taken back. I've had my share of saying things that I wish I had never said.

Don't mean to lecture all of a sudden but it is an important topic to me
