I went to the library yesterday and I found a newspaper and began reading an article about an Autonomous Haulage System (AHS). The concept is actually quite interesting and it could change how the mining industry operates. Essentially an Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) is a technology that lets mining trucks drive and move materials by themselves, without needing a person to drive them. I see this as a way to prevent workplace injuries. I think it is cool that these systems use tools like GPS, sensors, and wireless signals to help the trucks move safely and work well around the mining area.​

That's very good, too bad for lost jobs but safety is the most important thing

I think most things these days are being computer driven
It does help decrease injury

which is a big plus

but workers not needing to do it
that just is unfortunate
