According to police on March 20, an unnamed informant stated Seungri took cocaine overseas and provided sex escorts at his birthday party in the Philippines.

The former Big Bang member was reportedly questioned by police on the 18th when he was asked about taking cocaine overseas. Seungri has denied the allegations, telling police, "I'd like to receive a face-to-face questioning session with the informant."

Seungri is also being accused of providing sexual entertainment and escort services at a birthday party he held for himself in Palawan, a province of the Philippines, in December of 2017.

It's said his lavish birthday party was filled with women alleged to be sex workers, some of who are reportedly undergoing investigation by police.

As far as I know, SK has very, very strict rules when it comes to drugs. When Canada (I believe it was Canada but I'm not sure) legalized marihuana, korean govt. warned it's citizens to abstain themselves from it, beacuse they could be prosecuted back in their country once they get discovered.

Since he was already tested negative and all of Big Bang got tested negative while before I gotta be doubtful of that testimony.

In terms of escorts at birthday party, it's not exactly illegal unless sex for money is involved I think. There was already earlier article that he had invited adult industry workers (probably escorts then?) and said he would pay everything.

It doesn't have anything to do with being rich something like that, is the mental/emotional state of the person + toxic friendships. Usually, we just see the flashy side of fame when in reality the amount of pressure is insane, not to mention all this people around you like vultures taking advantage of a supposed friendship. Of course, I'm not liberating Seungri of his responsibility as an adult but it takes a strong will, moral/spitual values and wiseness to keep yourself out temptation.

Some want the thrill, some have lots of anxiety that drugs help them to escape, some want to fit in with peers, etc.

Drugs aren't good and I wouldn't really condone using them (smoking here and there is usually whatever), but sometimes the reason isn't very simple.

The phrase that you can't buy happiness really applies to some.
