Well people will get used to a use name if you use it for a while anyway so I wouldn't worry too much about a name being iconic and just think more if you'd be content being called something else since it's a 2 month commitment at least

i'd say go for it, don't sweat it LOL there's always the option to change it back to your original username if you don't like the new one

life's too short to overthink a username, just yolo it, who knows you might end up liking the username more than your current one
