Should I start selling my song demos to companies and artists? (1 Viewer)

it's taken me a long while as an up and coming musician to realize a simple moral "not every song you make is meant to be sung in your voice". I have a lot of songs that in present dsy would be more fitting to go to artists like ILLIT or NMIXX because of the more cute style that contrasts from the "disturb the comfortable, comfort the disturbed" theme my music runs on. I have some demos and each an artist I think I should sell them to based on the title alone
Fairytale - Heart2Heart (intended for an EP that didn't come out)
Video Game - ILLIT (just lying around unfinished for no reason)
Miss Universe - UNIS (intended for a group project that fell flat)
I'll Be Okay - NMIXX (intended for another cancelled EP)
S.H.E. - ITZY (scrapped it because I no longer connect with the lyrics)

Whether or not anyone buys it is a different question. I know Lyre (a songwriting trio, I believe) has talked about the number of songs they've written that didn't get picked up.

When you are underaged? I don’t think you can sign a contract

It depends on your age. But you need a high level of self-confidence when you want to enter the music industry as a mainstream Pop producer. They're many very good producers out there and you may often hear that you're not good enough. I'd also recommend contacting a lawyer for copyright and media law before sending a demo to a company. Or what do you do when a company just steals your song?

Sure you can, it's just that contracts with minors are usually voidable by the minor, and there's a TON of asterisks on that, considering we see how often minors do try to get out of entertainment company contracts and fail.
