I unfortunately have only had one plushy in my life and it was a teddy bear, it has gotten really deformed over the years but i still love it 😊

my earliest and one I still have is a panda

it's from a Chinese movie called only mother is best in the world (or something like that)
it's significance is that mother had to give up the child because she could no longer take care of him and there was the panda plushy that she was about to give him (or something like that) and that many years later when the son became an adult he went to search for her and found her because of the panda

I got my mother to get me one of the pandas and it's half dilapidated since it's like >30 years old but it reminds me of my mother
