Nooo don't you dare age my little Kyujin kitty.
In exactly a week she will be 19 and considered an adult in Korea, kind of confused me why they celebrate it today already.

Also I got bamboozled by the two kids. I saw they were live and hurried to workout so I could turn on the TV and let it play as I lift weights, but instead I notice the stream had ended 7minutes earlier. They only had been live for around 20ish minutes

I was wondering what this is about too and so I googled it.. it seems there a specific day in korea they call coming of age day, I think it's more related to korean age system where everyone age in unison so the actual birthday of the person does not matter

Ngl SK sure is confusing at some things lol. I remember they round up your age too, like even if you are still 18 (minor in SK) they would round it up to 19 already as soon it's the new year of the year you'd be turning 19. And I just read in Korea they celebrate it on the 3rd monday of May, and in Japan it's on the 12th of January

yeah, well officially they abandoned that korean age system 1-2 years ago, but of course people still use it
