We were promised solos for Rose, Jisoo and Lisa. And we're near January 2020, does this make Jennie look bad for releasing "Solo"? It makes it look like that YG tried to turn Jennie into his KPop Beyonce.

And "Solo" being generic and a bad version of Gashina doesn't help either.

I don't think it makes Jennie look bad at all. Every YG group (tbh a large amount of groups in general) have members that get more push than others. It isn't her fault and it's not like she's in a much better position or happier than the rest of the Pinks.

Like it or not, that watered down Gashina was a huge success.
Now is just not a good time for Rosé to go solo. The Korean fanbase is weak, Burning Sun has ruined YG favor with general public, journalists are openly boycotting Blackpink and compared to Jensoo, Rosé's fanbase is a lot weaker and she has less recognition in public eye. YG does not have the money to give her a solo and the same amount of promotions as went into Jennie, a Blackpink comeback is better rn.

If Rosé goes solo now, she will flop and be lynched for it. That is the last thing I want for her. Maybe one day we'll get it but it ain't today
