Be The NEXT: 9 Dreamers (also known as Be The NEXT) is a South Korean-Filipino idol survival show that broadcasted on TV5 on February 8, 2025.
The show features 75 trainees from countries across Asia and beyond, and is scheduled to air every Saturday at 7:15 PM PHT (8:15 PM KST) and Sunday at 8:15 PM PHT (9:15 PM KST) on TV5, starting from its premiere on February 8, 2025.
From March 29 onwards, the show will air at 8:30 PM PHT (9:30 PM KST) on both days.
The final line-up will consist of 9 members and will be managed by MLD Entertainment.
On August 24, 2024, MLD Entertainment and TV5 announced that they will form a Filipino boy group that will debut in South Korea under MLD Entertainment and KAMP Korea through the idol survival show, Be The NEXT: 9 Dreamers.
On January 10, 2025, TV5 announced that the upcoming show will premiere on February 8 at 7:15 PM (PHT). On the same day, 2NE1 member Sanadra Park was revealed as the host of the show through TV Patrol (a TV news program) and EXO member Chen, former MOMOLAND member Hyebin, former TREASURE member Bang Ye Dam, AB6IX member Park Woo Jin, HORI7ON member Vinci, choreographer Bae Wan Hee and producer Bullseye as mentors.
One of the contestant of Be The NEXT: 9 Dreamers is a Vietnamese-Canadian called Kelvin Tran.
