I personally think so. It set up some form of expectation and made people go into it with some preconceived notion on how it should sound like which inevitably led to disappointment for some (me included).

I think Events or Awards, since I'd be more useful in those and it's where I'm close to most of the staff.
I wouldn't be useful in the Translations (unless the admins decide to do some Portuguese/Spanish promotions of KPS), Graphics (my PS skills are below-average) or as a Mod (I don't think I'm suitable for the role tbh).
