Lately i've been getting into skincare! I've been trying out a lot of products to see what works with my skin and so far... I've found like 2 things that are actually working.
But my question today is, do you guys use skincare products often? and if so, which ones work for you the best?
I'm mostly trying to find things that will unclog my pores

you should ask them skincare questions they help alot imo for years i thought i had oily skin and was confused why no oily skin products work for me but when a worker told me i had dry it helped sm

At a certain age you just accept the truth about yourself. Also, try to not be ugly is WAY more work than I willing to put in.

tbh everyone gets ugly when they get older no offense but skincare is just to take care of the skin

nah I look fine as is and I dont even go out so no one judges me, I barely look in the mirror

look for ingredients, not brands or promises in the label
I have an oily t-zone and fairy prominent pores, also wear makeup for work
my routine:
unless my skin is really oily in the morning (hormones go funky before my period) I simply wash with warm water, spray some toner, and use two drops of niacinamide serum while my skin is damp then put in my makeup
evening I first wash my skin with an oil cleanser to wash off the makeup, rinse with warm water, then wash my face again with salicylic acid for the sweat (salicylic acid is one of the things to look for in cleansers and are in a lot of drug store brands), toner again, then a cream for acne (forgot the active ingredients in them) and top it off with two drops of niacinamide serum
I know everyone acts like retinol is the holy grail but it really depends — was far too rich for me — and everyone online swears by ten million things but really consistency is key so don’t trust anyone who swaps products out every second week, wash your hands before washing your face, and do your research into what works and doesn’t work for you
this is more of a self inflicted rule but I also try to actively only buy ugly packaging and unscented so I’m less likely to fall for marketing, same with any trendy brands, I have my perfume to play into that side
